Sarah Apfelbeck

Licensed Professional Counselor

Sarah has been practicing counseling since 2017, after a fulfilling career as an educator in parochial schools. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Cardinal Stritch University, following a Master of Theological Studies from the University of Dallas and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Aquinas College in Nashville, TN.  Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is also certified to provide psychometric testing.

She has experience working with adults, children, and adolescents in both individual and group therapy settings. Sarah partners with clients to identify struggles, set meaningful goals, and discover solutions that foster peace and well-being. She takes a holistic approach to care, recognizing the interconnectedness of physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

Her clinical experience includes supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma responses, childhood trauma, and challenges with anger and frustration.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, their dog, and their horses.

Sarah primarily sees clients at our Plymouth office, with limited availability in the Port Washington location.
