Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Trauma Centered Trauma Sensitive Yoga – Facilitator, Substance Abuse Counselor In-training
Kirstin is a graduate of Walden University, where she received her Master of Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Social Work. Kirstin received her training as a substance use counselor from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Kirstin believes in building a strong partnership where the client is empowered to discover their strengths, build their support systems, and build a healthy lifestyle. She is passionate about normalizing mental health treatment and creating access to high-quality treatment for all. She has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), and Trauma-Informed Care. Kirstin has a background in working with adults aged 18 and above in both community settings and partial hospitalization programs. She has a special interest in working with veterans. Kirstin works out of the Sheboygan and Oostburg offices.
