Danielle Zinke Lindberg

Licensed Professional Counselor

Danielle has worked at Life Point Counseling for over 10 years and has been a counselor since 2007. She has worked with a variety of demographics including but not limited to children and their families in their homes, bereaved individuals through a hospice program, adolescents and their families in a therapeutic boarding school, the elderly in assisted living facilities, and adults and couples in private practice. Danielle received her Master’s degree from DePaul University with an emphasis on Community Counseling.

Danielle integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. She frequently uses Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), helping clients build insight into their internal emotional systems, regulate distress, and develop healthier coping strategies. She also incorporates art and music therapy as creative tools for expression and healing, particularly when working with children and teens. These modalities not only enhance emotional expression but also help reinforce therapeutic progress between sessions.

In addition, Danielle has found success using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps clients become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking patterns and challenges them to reframe their thoughts in order to handle difficult situations more effectively.

Danielle’s areas of interest and expertise include:

  • Anxiety
