Licensed Professional Counselor

I have spent more than thirty years sitting with people in the most human parts of their lives — the moments that break them open, the seasons that reshape them, and the quiet turning points that lead to growth. My work as a Licensed Professional Counselor is rooted in presence, curiosity, and genuine connection. I believe people heal when they feel understood, supported, and empowered to reclaim their own story.

My path began at Oakland University, where I earned both my B.S. and M.A. in Counseling. From there, I stepped into community mental health as a counselor, supervisor, and administrator, learning firsthand how resilience is built one conversation at a time. Today, in outpatient practice, I continue to walk alongside individuals, couples, families, and groups as they navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, chronic medical issues, and the unique stressors faced by military families.

My approach is integrative and collaborative. I draw from solution‑focused and cognitive‑behavioral perspectives, but I always begin with the person in front of me — their strengths, their pace, their lived experience. I aim to create a space where people feel safe enough to explore and supported enough to change.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: every person carries the capacity for transformation, and therapy is the place where that capacity can take shape.

“Healing begins the moment you feel seen.”

My current office hours are Fridays 7-3 in Plymouth. I see clients in the office and virtually.  I see adult clients and provide individual, family or couples therapy.
