Licensed Professional Counselor/Nationally Certified Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors
It is my belief that you have come to this page looking for something. Maybe you don’t know what that something is- you just know or feel “something” is missing. And, you need someone to accompany you on your journey to find “it” because if you could have found “it” by yourself, you already would have. Perhaps that something that is missing is joy….or peace….or hope….or healing.
Whether influences of depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, or relationship discord are impacting you, I am here to accompany you on a path towards healing, however that may be defined by you. While this journey that we venture on together may be challenging at times, know that I will be alongside you through those challenges, creating a space in which you realize the potential you have within yourself to bring about your own healing and growth.
Therapy is a process. YOUR process. Truth be told, I am not an expert on “you” nor will I have all the answers you seek. I believe you are the expert of your life and have within you what is needed to heal. By inviting me into your life, you are opening the door to finding that missing something and to discover the healing that is possible within a non-judgmental, empathic, and compassionate therapeutic space.
As you are considering inviting me into your life, a few things to know about my practice. I consider my approach with my clients to be compassionate, warm, and respectful. There are many different ways that therapy can look in our shared space- this could be traditional talk therapy, including looking at the ways in which thoughts and beliefs impact behavior, also known as cognitive based therapy. This could include integrating relaxation strategies and mindfulness tools. And, it could involve integrating both body and mind with the use of Emotional Freedom Techniques, also known as Tapping. Together, we will decide what approaches might fit best in the work you are desiring from your session time.
If you would like to reach out to me with questions, or to schedule an appointment, you can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 920-892-7606 ext 113. ****I am also available and open to providing educationally based Emotional Freedom Techniques, or “Tapping Groups”, within the community or within an organization. If you would like more information about this, please reach out to me at the provided email or phone number above.
