Mindy is an LPC and SAC-IT who graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis focusing on Trauma therapy. Mindy’s professional experiences include working with a variety of age groups ranging from children to adults. She has experiences working with children, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, conduct disorder, and oppositional defiant disorder.

Mindy has worked in residential settings, inpatient, and outpatient clinics. She has worked with various mood disorders including major depression disorder, bipolar disorder, and substance induced mood disorder. Mindy also has experiences working with obsessive/compulsive disorders and other related anxiety disorders which includes excoriation, trichotillomania, and body dysmorphic disorder.

Mindy’s theoretical approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Approach. She implements therapeutic techniques with individuals according to their needs. Therapeutic techniques and skills training includes: behavior modification, exposure therapy, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation skills, and reality acceptance skills.

Mindy currently works in our Plymouth office on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
