Julie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in the State of Wisconsin.
She has always been interested in working with people. Her style of counseling is to look at the individual needs of each client. She does not believe in generalizing clients based on a diagnosis. Her approach considers the whole person-thoughts, feelings, physical, and spiritual.

In the past 20 years, she has primarily worked with adults and adolescents in an outpatient setting.

Overall, the cognitive-behavioral approach is the primary approach, however the eclectic approach seems to be the best to retain clients’ involvement within counseling and to assist them in meeting their goals.
