Denise is currently a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student of George Fox University from
Portland, Oregon. She joins us from the Pacific Northwest with deep Midwest roots. Denise
believes that each individual has internal resources to uncover the wonder that exists within
themselves. However, sometimes, the reality we uncover is we are really stuck. She centers on
the individual and utilizes an eclectic, integrative approach to therapy with a strong reliance on
various theories including, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral, attachment, existential, and
trauma-informed. Denise’s hope is to provide the safest container possible for you to show up as
your most authentic self, and to explore together how to live with a loving-kindness to self.
Denise’s areas of focus include:
● Children, Adolescents, and Adults
● Anxiety
● Depression and other Mood Disorders
● Interpersonal Conflict
● Grief and Loss
● Life Transitions
Denise works out of the Sheboygan and Plymouth offices seeing individual clients, couples, and
families.
