Licensed Professional Counselor
Danielle has been on staff at Life Point Counseling for over 8 years but has been in the field of counseling since 2007. Danielle has worked with a variety of populations including children and their families in their homes, bereaved individuals through a hospice program, adolescents and their families in a therapeutic boarding school, the elderly in assisted living facilities, and adults and couples in private practice. Danielle received her Master’s degree from De Paul University with an emphasis on Community Counseling.
In working with children and teens, Danielle has used art as a means of expression. This also provides a reminder of the work done during the therapy session. With many clients Danielle has found success using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which helps clients become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking and challenges them to re-frame their thoughts in order to handle challenging situations more effectively. Danielle is very pleased to be a part of the team of therapists at Life Point Counseling.
