Thanks for stopping by my page. You’re likely here because you’re considering counseling for yourself or someone that you know. Perhaps you’re wondering which therapist would be a good fit. Here’s some information about me.
I have my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. I started working in the mental health field in 2010, and began providing outpatient counseling services in 2015.
I work with teens and adults who may be experiencing a variety of mental health and life transition issues. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, bipolar disorder, and grief. I have additional training in integrating a client’s faith in therapy, and can provide this as requested by clients. I also have experience working with emergency responders, and facilitate critical incident stress debriefings following traumatic incidents.
I consider my counseling style to be collaborative, intentional, and forward-focused. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness and DBT principles, motivational interviewing and solution-focused strategies to assist clients in establishing more effective patterns of thought and behavior. I also enjoy helping clients explore larger concepts of purpose and meaning as needed.
I truly enjoy working with clients to establish healthier life patterns and experience positive life changes. I consider it a privilege to help clients build hope for the future.
I work at our Sheboygan office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 am-5 pm, and Thursdays at our Plymouth office from 9 am-3 pm. If you would like to contact me, I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or 920-892-7606 ex. 116. To schedule a first appointment, please contact Molly our office manager.
